her local professional community in order to promote the sustainability
and green aspects of design she believes in, and also to learn more from
her fellow professionals. Isabelle’s most proud personal achievement is

Annie Foster
1st Year Board Member |
Annie Foster Courtney
[Annie.Foster@wspfk.com]
Annie Foster Courtney graduated from Duke University with a BSE in
Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. She never thought she
would end up working in the construction industry, but two amazing
summer internships at Frank M. Booth Design Build (Granite Bay, CA)
opened her eyes to this complex and challenging field. After graduating
in 2007, Annie joined the San Francisco office of WSP Flack + Kurtz,
where she currently works as a consulting engineer. She encourages all
young engineers and those new to the area to get involved in the Golden
Gate Chapter. Two fun years as Marble Draw Person forced Annie out of
her "shy, quiet engineer" comfort zone and she ended up meeting a
chapter full of great people, several of which have become personal
friends. Join a committee, give it a try! |
